Life Timber for all
On September 12, 2025, we held in Santiago de Compostela the launch event of the LIFE Timber for All project: Mixed Timber–Concrete Structures: Promoting Sustainable and Industrialized Construction in Galicia.
Life Timber for All
The event took place at the Training Center of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción and marked the official start of a project aimed at decarbonizing the sector through innovative hybrid solutions.
🌱 During the morning, the results of the LIFE Wood for Future project were presented, demonstrating the potential of local timber for more sustainable construction, and the objectives and work lines of LIFE TIMBER FOR ALL were introduced.
🏗️ In the afternoon, attendees participated in site visits to buildings with mixed floors, where they could see firsthand the practical application of these construction typologies in Galicia.
🤝 LIFE TIMBER FOR ALL includes 10 partners from Spain, among universities, technology centers, timber and engineering companies, public administrations, and innovation entities:
